Q. What should I wear?

A. You will find people dressing in a variety of ways. Some wear jeans and t-shirts, while others wear suits. So, come as you are!

Q. When are your services?

A. The morning worship service begins at 11:00am. There are other opportunities throughout the week. Call the church office @ 865-483-7436 for additiona information.

Q. What are your services like?

A. The Morning worship service is upbeat, warm and casual. If you are accustomed to a service that is bit traditional--but never "stuffy"-- you will feel right at home.

Q.When should I come?

A. The Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00am so we recomend that you arrive about fifteen minutes early, especially if you have young children you wish to place un the nursery. For a full list of sevices please visit the service times page.

Q. Where should I park?

A. You will find ample parking with easy access in the paved lot in back of the church. That is where most people park and enter, but there is a limited amount of parking on the street at the front entrance to the church.

Q. How long will it last?

A. The sunday morning worship typically lasts about an hour.

Q. What version of the Bible do you use?

A. The pastor preaches from the NKJV (New King James Version), but members use a number of different versions.

Q. What kind of music do you have?

A. At Glenwood you will find the congregation enjoying a wide variety of Christian music. From classic hymns of the faith, to the latest in praise in worship. Contemporary, southern gospel,  and traditional are often featured during our worship service.

Q. Will I be pressured or embarrased?

A. No. We do want you to feel loved and welcomed, but also realize that most people don't want to stand out. No one will ever "pressure" you to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Q. Do you provide a nursery?

A. Yes, we provied a nursery for children ages infant through four years of age, who attend with their parent or guardian on Sunday morning.

Q. Do you have anything for older children?

A. Yes, at 9:45 there is a children's ministry and student ministry (youth) that we would love for your children to attend. During the worship service, just before the Pastor preaches children grades k-3 have the option of attending "Children's Church" with our excellent Children's Ministry volunteers. There, they learn the basic stories of the Bible presented in an engaging, age appropriate manner.

Q. What about security?

A. At Glenwood we take security seriously, and make every effort to ensure that you and your family are safe at all times.
